Namely, there are several natural methods to change its color, and we reveal them for you today:

For Red hair -Beet

A great way to temporarily color your strands with reddish color is dyeing your hair using beet or carrot juice. In this way, your natural hair dye won’t contain any nasty chemical.

  • Beet juice (with or without carrot juice)

Mix the beet juice and the coconut oil, and apply the solution to your hair. Use a plastic warp to cover your hair. Let it act for an hour, and then rinse and condition as usual. Check out the video below to see this hair dyeing process:

You can also try cutting a medium- sized beet into pieces. Put them in a pot and place it over heat to boil, and afterwards, let it cool. Add several slices of the beet in this liquid and you will get your coloring mixture!

All you need to do is to apply it on your hair and leave it thus for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, wash it off using vinegar and dry it. Women with a lighter nuance of the hair will get the desired effects after the very first treatment, while others will need to repeat the procedure a few more times.

For Golden blonde hair- Chamomile

Add 100 grams of dried chamomile flowers in half a liter of water. Boil the mixture and strain it afterwards. You need to soak the hair in the prepared liquid. After some time, rinse your hair using vinegar, in order to fix the color, and dry your hair.

Another method using lemon juice is:

  • 300ml of water
  • 8 tablespoons of dried chamomile flowers
  • Juice of half a lemon

Pour the hot water over the chamomile flowers, and heat for around 15 minutes. After cooling, strain the mixture and add the lemon juice.  Spread the mixture on your entire hair, comb and let it dry. If you dry your hair outside on the sun, you will get even better results. After that, shampoo your hair as normal.

For Light brown hair- Onion peel and bark of an oak

In a liter of boiling water, add the sliced bark of an oak and half cup of onion peels. Cook them together about 1 hour, and then leave them to cool for an hour more. All you need to do is to use this mix to wet your hair. Leave your hair thus for 45 minutes, and then rinse it using vinegar.

For brown hair- Green peel walnut

Remove the peel of 15-20 walnuts and cut it into pieces. Then, grind the pieces and pour them with hot water. Stir the mixture until it becomes smooth.

Then, apply it on the hair using a brush, just like you do with the regular hair color. Leave it thus for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, wash the hair and rinse it with vinegar.

Hair dyes contain around 5,000 different chemicals, many of them proven to be carcinogenic in animal researches.

Onion Peels for Gray Hair

In a glass of boiling water, soak ½ a glass of onion peels for about 20 minutes. Cover the glass to prevent the heat getting out. Use gauze to strain the mixture, and then add two tablespoons of glycerol to the strained liquid. Apply this natural dye to your hair on a daily basis, until you get the desired shade. Once you rub your hair with the dye well, wash as normal and allow it to dry naturally.
